These photographs come from a series taken in Tokyo early in 2015. They take advantage of the opportunistic views

seen from my window though to the hotel diagonally opposite, revealing the transparency within the architecture. What

I found engaging was the juxtaposition of the formalism of the architecture with the almost abstracted and varied images

of the guests within. I have tried to capture a sense of dehumanising and intimacy together. These images speak to the

multiplicity of ways we can misunderstand our fellow human by making assumptions about what we think might be 

occurring.  Tokyo
